Day 01 : Depart for Chendu / Wangjiang Garden / Qingyang Temple (B,L,D)
Assemble and depart for Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, known as the "Land of Plenty". Follow by tour of Wangjiang Garden, hometown of ancient female poet Xue-tao. The main structures are Wanjiang Tower and Xuetao Well. Next, visit Qingyang Temple, the biggest ancient Taoist Temple in Chengdu. It takes its name from the two "bronze goats" in the temple. Overnight in Chengdu.
Day 02 : Chengdu / Mt. Qingcheng / Dujiangyan / Mao County (B,L,D)
After breakfast, go on tour around scenic area of Mt. Qingcheng, where it is regarded as the "most tranquil city under heaven". It is said to have been the cradle of Taoism, preaching the Taoist canons here. Next proceed to Dujiangyan, where the engineering marvel of ancient China - Dujiangyan Irrigation Dam is located. Chief projects are Fish Mouth Embankment, Feisha Weir, and Baoping Mouth Conduit. Nowadays, the irrigation network is capable of irrigation over 60,000 acres of agricultural land. Thereafter, proceed to Mao Country for the night.
Day 03 : Mao County / Munigou / Jiuzhaigou (B,L,D)
After breakfast, on journey to Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve (Nine Village Valley) in the north-west of Sichuan. Jiuzhaigou is about 500km from Chengdu, lies about 2,500 metres above sea level, and covers an area of 60,000 hectares, formed by forested mountain and high mountain peaks covered by eternal snow. A lush plantation alternates with grass steppes, lakes rivers and bizarre waterfalls. Half way, you will visit the wonderful waterfall of Munigou. On arrival, check in to hotel.
Day 04 : Jiuzhaigou / Changhai / Shuzhengqungou, Zhenzhutan Waterfall (B,L,D)
After breakfast we begin the journey of Jiuzhaigou marvellous scenic spots. The main sports includes Chaghai, Wuhuahai, Shuzhengqungou, Zhenzhutan Waterfall, Rigagou, etc. most attractions are centralised to the 3 main valleys shaped like a "Y", about 50km in length. Overnight at Jiuzhaigou.
Day 05 : Jiuzhaigou / Miangyang / Bao En Temple / Old residence of Li-Bai (B,L,D)
After breakfast, depart by coach to Mianyang. Visit Bao En Temple with its structure modelled on Forbidden City at Beijing. Thereafter, proceed to visit the old residence of a Tang dynasty great poet, Li-Bai. Overnight at Miangyang.
Day 06 : Miangyang / Pangtong Temple / Chengdu (B,L,D)
After breakfast, head to Pangtong Temple. Pangtong, a military counselor of Liu-Bei, enjoyed an equal popularity during Sanguo (Three Kingdoms) Dynasty. Next, head back to Chengdu. Free at own leisure and overnight at Chengdu.
Day 07 : Chengdu / Leshan / Mt. Emei (B,L,D)
This morning, proceed to Leshan City. Upon arrival, visit the famous Grand Buddha which overlooks the Mingjiang, Qingyi and Dadu rivers. This giant Buddha is one of the biggest stone Buddhist statute in the world, with 71 metres in height. Thereafter, proceed by coach to Mt. Emei. People describe Mt. Emei as "Beauty under the Heaven" which is resulted from its over hanging precipices, narrow gorges, quiet valleys, luxuriant pines and cypresses, flying waterfall and singing streams. We will visit the Baoguo Temple which was built in the Ming Dynasty. Overnight at Mt. Emei city.
Day 08 : Mt. Emei (B,L,D)
In Mt. Emei, temples began to be built in the first century by the Ming and Qing Dynasties and thus has been regarded as China's four mountains most sacred to Buddhists. It entertains the visitors with four miraculous sights of the sunrise, the sea of cloud, the "Divine Light" as well as the "Buddhist Lantern". In the morning, we will visit the Jinding Summit (Golden Summit), named after a former Ming Dynasty's bronze hall. In the afternoon, visit Wannian (Ten Thousand Year) Temple built in the Jin Dynasty.
Day 09 : Mt. Emei / Chengdu (B,L,D)
After breakfast, take a coach back to Chengdu. Upon arrival, you will be brought close to China's natural treasure, the Panda Bear. Your will find 30 Pandas being raised and growing healthily here. Overnight at Chengdu.
Day 10 : Depart for Home (B)
After breakfast, free at own leisure till transfer to airport for your return flight home.
