7 DAYS  BEIJING, CHENGDE & TIANJIN
Day 01 : Depart for Beijing
Your exciting holiday begins with a pleasant flight to glorious Beijing - cradle of Chinese civilisation. Upon arrival, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Tiannamen Square. Surrounding the compound are various landmarks such as the History Museum, Monument to the People's Hero and Chariman Mao's Memorial Hall.

Day 02 : Beijing / Temple Of Heaven / Summer Palace /Forbidden City
Today, we visit the Temple of Heaven - a place of prayer for the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Thereafter continue your journey to one of the best sights in Beijing, the Summer Palace - a summer retreat for the Qing imperial family. It is the largest classical park in Chinese capital and boast of more than 100 structures, including pavilions, veranders and pagodas. Dotted with isles and graced with Western Hills as its backdrop, the lake at Yiheyuan presents an everchanging view. Located in the heart of Beijing, the Imperial Palace or the Forbidden City covers an area of 101.2 hectares. The entire complex includes 6 main palaces as well as many small buildings containing 9999 rooms. After dinner, proceed to the famous acrobatic show. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 03 : Beijing / Ming Tombs / Great Wall / Ming Dynasty Waxworks Museum
A day of breathtaking sights as we head towards Ming Tombs - the burial place of Emperor Yong Le and 12 other Ming Dynasty emperors. Constructions of the necropolis began more than 500 years ago and continued over a period of 200 years. Unearthed from the 13th Ming Emperor Zhu Yijun and his 2 wives' tomb alone, were more than 3000 precious cultural relics. We continue to the magnificient Great Wall of China. This imposing and ancient Chinese structure stretching over 6000 km of mountain terrains is the only visible man-made structure from the moon. It is certainly every visitor's challenge to climb the Great Wall. Thereafter continue to the Ming Dynasty Waxworks Museum. It is the largest waxworks museum in the world today. Its majestic beauty is a perfect combination of modern and classical Chinese architecture. The museum comprises of a large book of history, a palace of art, and is known as 'The Chinese Louvre'. The palace is a painting of the politics, military affairs, culture, society and customs of the Ming Dynasty. (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 04 : Beijing / Chengde
This morning, we depart to Chengde. Upon arrival, we will visit the famous 'Mountain Hamlet for Escaping the Heat' - Summer Palace, the largest imperial summer resort in China. Covering an area of 5.64 million sq metres, it consist of a palace hall area and a scenery area. The Palace Hall is divided into 4 parts - the Main Hall, the Pine and Crane Hall, the Wanrui Wind and Pine Courtyard and Eastern Palace. The scenery area consists of a plain, a lake and hills. The plain has a feature of a Mongolian grassland, the lake looks like south of Yangtze River and the hills feature mountains and forests typical of Northeast China.

Day 05 : Chengde / Beijing
Known as the Eight Outer Temples because they were under eight different administration in olden days, they were actually 11 splendid temples built more than 200 years ago. Today, only seven temples remain intact reflecting the traditional art and culture of Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan nationalities. Thereafter, we return to Beijing by coach.

Day 06 : Beijing / Tianjin / Beijing
After breakfast, we depart to Tianjin, the 'Shanghai of the North', a heavy industrial town and large port with direct administration by the central government. We will spend the day visiting The Park on the Water of Tianjin, artificial in more ways than one. It has islands, bridges, as well as a museum with Ming and Qing printings. Another attraction is the newly-built 'Food Street' where famous dishes from all parts of the country are served. Do not miss the opportunity to taste for yourself the delights of the Chinese cuisines. We will also visit Cultural Street. Thereafter, we will make our way back to Beijing for the night. Day 07 : Depart for Home
Today, you will be transfered to the airport for your flight back Home.
